There cannot be many young girls who haven’t heard of Hannah Montana. In fact most of them are probably hardened fans, since Hannah is so popular.
The television series is made in America and first started back in 2006. The basic idea is that Hannah Montana is a pop star who is incredibly famous. But the person who steps into Hannah’s shoes every night is not Hannah – she is a schoolgirl called Miley Stewart. No one except for her family and a few select friends know that she is one and the same person.
Hannah Montana concerts
Since the whole idea of the show is based around a young girl’s life as a secret pop star, it is not surprising that concerts have been arranged to allow fans to see Miley (and Hannah) in real life.
Miley Stewart is played by the actress Miley Cyrus, and she will be performing a UK tour in December 2010. This is billed as the Hannah Montana – Miley Cyrus concert, rather than the Miley Stewart concert.
A ‘Best of Both Worlds’ concert film was released at the beginning of 2008, but this concert tour will allow fans to see Miley as Hannah Montana on stage live.
How to get tickets for a concert
The first thing to do is to find out where the concert is taking place. In the UK the locations are big cities including London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow. Dublin in Ireland has also been slated as a venue to visit.
The best way to get tickets is to find out what venue you want to visit and go from there. For instance the O2 arena is the chosen place in London where the concert will take place. Most of the performances will be around Christmas time, so bear this in mind if you are travelling to see it.
You can book online although you may be charged a booking fee for doing so. Select the venue you want and then see what ticket prices and seats are available.

Further information about the Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus concerts should be available closer to the time. But you will need to book your tickets as soon as possible to be assured of getting them. This is likely to be a very popular concert and the longer you leave booking it, the more likely it is they will be sold out.
Hannah Montana will be returning to the TV screens for one final series this year, in 2010. This will be the fourth series and it is shorter than the other three. This alone should result in even greater interest in the Hannah Montana concerts, so make sure you don’t get left behind in finding the tickets you want.
